There are lots of great reasons to participate in Habitat build projects, but for us, the biggest reason continues to be the incredible need for affordable housing in Michigan. The problems of homelessness and substandard housing, cuts across every community.

There are a variety of ways volunteers can be involved. Your church of organization cna provide workers for a day or a week. Lunches are also needed for the workers. Individuals may ask to be put on our call list. You can designate what days you would be available. On many days, our Construction Manager just needs an extra set or two of hands. Retirees can just show up with their hammers. If your group would like to volunteer, please call any board member listed below.

Ionia Area Habitat for Humanity emphasizes local commitment and local control. All Habitat projects adhere to a nondiscriminatory family selection policy.
